IICHP: Accreditation Criteria
Members must:
- Possess IICH Diploma (or an equivalent that is recognised by the Membership Committee.
- Attend regular clinical supervision (ratio 1:10 – minimum once per month).
- Submit evidence of professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Agree to abide by the IICH Code of Practice.
- Submit a written report from the applicant’s clinical supervisor as to the quality of their work and their suitability for accreditation.
If an individual has been a practising Ordinary Member for more than five consecutive years they may be eligible to apply for accredited membership. On initial application they are required to produce evidence of 600 hours of supervised client work in addition to the Full Membership criteria.
